Introduce of original worldbuilding-Project Oasis

The planet Oasis is a lifeless world near the habitable zone, with massive red satellite which causes oceanic tides periodically submerge parts of the land. After the Project Oasis introduced ideal ancestral species from earth and let them evolve naturally on the planet, the power of life itself transformed this barren world into a green paradise. Though Oasis species shares the same foundation with those on Earth, they remains similar yet distinct.

The two moon of Oasis——one is bigger, one is smaller——create tides that rise and fall every 7.5 earth days, extending up to 300 km inland from the lowest tide point, with a tidal height of 3 meters. The gravity of the moons slows the planet's rotation, leading it takes 15 Earth days for one rotation. With 2% carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, the temperature difference between day and night on land remains within a range of 40 degrees Celsius.

Since the inland is vast and arid, having abundant areas of desert, the earliest species could only survive in mudflats. Being forced to face periodic tidal floods and extreme convective rainstorms, repeatedly enter the water and go ashore, those creatures evolved imperfect amphibious traits in the tidal flats. Every species has imperfections——this is their past, also guide them to the future. The Oasis creatures, some of them lost the way in sexual selection, some kept working on making up for the shortcomings of the past; the creature running with forelimbs, species that fly with their hind legs, enormous sails, giants stuck in mudflats. they are not perfect, they are just pushed by the tides to inches where they can survive. They all confined in their own "tidal oasis", alike the planet's tides, finding order amid chaos.
